Let us admit the fact that there is
always a time when a transaction in a distant location gets very long and
exhausting and demands you to stay overnight to finish it the next day. Yes,
you might even want to stay rather than spend long hours of travel back and forth
again for the same purpose! So when you’re confronted with moments like this,
it is best to make a back-up plan ahead. Spare a budget for the overnight stay
and start hunting for a place where you can relax for the night without
overspending (that is if you do not have any relatives’ place to stay in).
Here is a short review of the place that
I and my husband had been to when we had a few transactions at the Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC), Pagadian City last January 19. We had checked in
to a couple of other known hotels in the city last year but as for the average
travelers like us, we recommend the Executive Travelers’ Pension House. It is
located at FS Pajares Avenue, San Jose District. If you are a commuter, it can
be reached by a motorcab for a fare rate of Php10 from within the city proper
and Php20 from the bus terminal. It’s right across JB’S Inato Restobar and
beside Rodolfo’s Cuisine. Whether you want to chill for the night while you’re
checked in or just need some regular meal, these two can be your choices.
The Executive Travelers’ Pension House
offers a decent place to stay for any traveler on a budget. Whether it’s a
short-time stay or overnight sleep, you can choose from Backpackers Room,
Business Travelers Room, or Executive Travelers Room. To see their list of
updated room rates, you can visit their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ExecutiveTravelers/).
For as low as Php599, you and your partner can
relax in a clean air-conditioned Executive Travelers Room with ensuite bathroom
(bathroom in the room). This room rate is good for 24-hour stay with a
check-out time of 12:00 noon. This room accommodation gives you a neat milky-white
room paint with chocolate brown accents paired with a nice curtain on the
window that complements the wall paint. It comes with a queen-size bed, a
mini-closet and a side table. You can’t ignore the cute lamp mounted on the
wall, either. The nicely-tucked white bed covers and pillowcases assure your
doubtful mind that the sheets you are about to use are safe and clean. This
pension is also built with a mini-canteen for those who forgot to pack with
them some extra chips and drinks. For anyone who wants to just literally relax
the body and mind during the stay, rather than roam around the city, a cable
television and wi-fi connection inside the room completes the comfort zone.
So, if you happen to step in
Pagadian City for an office transaction or whatever purpose it might be, you
can try the Executive Travelers Pension House without overspending!
